On the morning of October 18, 2024, an infringement litigation case relating to “AI digital human” in the field of artificial intelligence was publicly heard by Hangzhou Intermediate People’s Court in Zhejiang Province. This case was selected as a model case for the World Intellectual Property Congress organized by the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) for the first time in China. This case attracted great attention due to relating to a cutting-edge computer software patent in the field of natural human-computer interaction.
